Ida Pruitt, a missionary daughter, highlights the memory and writing about space in her autobiography A China Childhood. Hence, through the analysis of the role of space in text organization, cultural interpretation and identity representation, the current study aims to enhance the understanding of spatial narrative in the research of autobiography.
